I am ultimately driven by the belief that we can't create change without awareness. I aim to bring awareness to the underlying beliefs, behaviors, and experiences that contribute to our distress. I am deeply influenced by the field of Cognitive Neuroscience and am motivated by the concept that each new thought creates a new neural pathway in the brain. The more we focus on a thought, the stronger this neural connection becomes. By manipulating our brain circuitry, we can create change. I am also a Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy Practitioner and often recommend using the effects of Ketamine as a way to increase neuroplasticity.

In addition to talk therapy, I often use art as a communication tool and a means for promoting growth. We conceptualize our troubles through words and reasoning, yet the non-verbal expression is often just as insightful. As adults we are rarely given an opportunity to step away from our mental chatter and express ourselves through art. With art therapy you will be invited to put aside all your ideas of traditional talk therapy and engage in a new therapeutic experience.
